The SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can charge controller uses advanced, high-speed technology to efficiently convert solar energy into usable power for charging your battery bank.

This controller is capable of recharging even deeply discharged batteries, operating with battery voltages as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or damaged.

Ultra-Fast MPPT Technology

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger supports PV arrays with a Voc of up to 150V or 250V, depending on the model. It automatically detects and charges 12V, 24V, or 48V battery banks, delivering a charge current of 70A to 100A.

Charging parameters are fully programmable, making it compatible with various battery chemistries including lead-acid, lithium, and more.

Remote Configuration and Monitoring

With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, you can remotely monitor and configure the charger using the VictronConnect App. View real-time data such as battery voltage and current, PV input status, and historical performance, all from your smartphone or tablet.

Expandable System via Daisy-Chaining

Equipped with VE.Can ports, multiple SmartSolar chargers can be connected in a daisy chain using a single RJ45 cable between units. These units will automatically synchronize their charging stages and can share data with a Victron GX monitoring device.

Advanced Remote Monitoring via VRM

When a GX device is connected to the internet, the system can be accessed through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) Portal, offering full remote monitoring and control capabilities. For off-grid locations without internet, connectivity is possible via the GlobalLink 520.

Versatile Control and Display Options

In addition to VE.Can, the charger includes a VE.Direct port, which allows for single-unit monitoring or streetlight control. It also features a remote on/off connector that can be managed by third-party devices such as lithium battery BMS systems. An optional plug-in LCD display enables real-time setup and data viewing directly on the device.
